We’re family family-owned and operated shop (no corporate overlords here!) with a single location in Colorado Springs that sells skis and snowboard gear in the winter and standup paddleboards, kayaks, and camping gear in the summer. We live, work, and play right here in this beautiful city! We’re united by our love for the mountains, we believe in living life to the fullest, and sharing the stoke of skiing, snowboarding, and the great outdoors.

Our mission is simple: make snow sports and the great outdoors accessible to everyone with affordable gear! We’re all about supporting our Shred Head community, trying new things, and ensuring you find your meaning of joy and happiness outdoors. We believe in transparency and will never push you into something you do not feel fully comfortable doing. Honest customer service is what we’re all about – from first-timers to pros, we’re here to help without the upsells!

We care deeply about sustainability. Our shop is committed to eco-friendly practices, recycling and reusing gear, and donating to animal, environmental, and human-focused causes in our community. 

Why do we love working at Rocky Mountain Ski & Sport? Because we’ve got the raddest crew around! Our shop is always buzzing with good music and happiness, thanks to the awesome people we get to meet, whether they’ve been skiing forever or want to check out stand-up paddle boarding. We’re big on animals too, so you’ll often find some furry friends in the shop. We support One Dog at a Time with fostering and donations, and our passion for the environment shows in our clean shop and recycled materials.

What really feeds the stoke for us? Helping you understand your gear and seeing that excitement when you learn something new about skiing, snowboarding, stand-up paddle boarding, or whatever your interest is in the outdoors. We love helping you find the perfect gear for more fun on the mountain, like boots that fit just right or answering your tricky questions. It is so fun to learn about the mountains people love to ride, and giving new trail tips or delicious food finds that are easy to keep in a pocket. 

We might not be perfect, but our love for snow, water, and just outside drives us to give you the best experience every day.
